It has been so long since I've blogged.
Feels strange and my words are rusty and yet, I'm feeling
pulled to express and share in this space again......
India and the last year and a half spent there was phenomenal.
A year in Coonoor (the pictures are from my visit there last month)
with the green tea estates, beautiful new friends,
mountains and fresh air, so healing and food for my soul.
Then the last 6 months in Mumbai, my hometown :-)
I had sworn to never go back and live in Mumbai, I hated the heat
and the humidity, the city noise and the pollution, the rat race and
the door bell ringing constantly - so many things I ran away from,
along with some deep emotional wounds and painful memories.
So of course, life took me back where I was born and began my life....
I healed deeply, closed a few circles, moved on the spiral, finished
some unfinished business, cut off some loose threads and let go of
what was not needed, essential or aligned with who I am in the present.
What a gift it has been - absolutely, totally, completely awesome!
Reconnecting with old friends, making some incredible new ones.
Spending 6 months with my mother has been so precious and also
3 months living with my niece has been so enriching and so much fun!!!
My heart is filled with gratitude......
Back in London now, back with my soul mate and partner Trevor :-)
who was with me in Coonoor but not Mumbai......
And the next chapter of my life begins.......hopefully moving
to Totnes, in Devon - next month - going house hunting this
coming weekend.
We don't know a soul over there, but I have chosen this place to
transition to the new world that is emerging. Transition town Totnes.
This is the town where the Transition movement begun and this is
where I would like to spend the next chapter of my life.....
I am excited, nervous but filled with joy.
An adventure in consciousness.
Time to play.....
Also will begin a Juice Fast end of next week......fasting always prepares
me on all levels for whatever is unfolding......and I love the idea of
being clean and light to begin this adventure.....
Life.....love it :-)

We do need to make peace with the past before we can start living in the present, let alone welcome future! So glad you were able to do that!

Along with your own share of experiences, you've helped me and inspired me in all aspects of my life in these last 3 months Masi...It was all meant to be and now your dream of starting a transition life will also come true...and i'll see you in Totnes...the entire family will be together...
