Find your Place

a subtle sensation of peace, a slight quiver of joy

a solid feeling of calm, a smile smiling all day......

i ask myself why? how is it possible to wake up

and from beginning to end, feel this way?

anger flashes yes of course

irritation is sometimes galore

a tightness in the being at times

even moments when love is hard to find......

yet, i have understood one thing if not more

a realization that seeps deep into my core

if you accept sadness, anger, whatever, the moment it arises

it simply flows through you and leaves you with no crises.......

life brings you a rich palette of emotions that pass

if you let go of all judgements, embrace them and dance

then all life and every experience becomes beautiful to behold

you rub your hands in glee and laugh at all that unfolds.......   

you come back again and again to your inner center

this sweet soft shining heart that is strong and tender

you get back in touch with love that never went away

and in this world, with all you love, you find your glorious place.......
