Life, Colors, Sound, Sights............

Vermillion, rust, magenta, sunset orange, rose, olive greens, azure blues, neon yellows, ivory creams and silver greys........
The colors of India are so striking and penetrate as deep as the sounds and sights of this place.

It is not possible to keep yourself at a distance from Life here, impossible to turn your face away.
Life, quietly or with fanfare, just seeps in through every crack or opening, from under the doors and window sills, little by little, until you are pulsating in accordance with its rhythm.......

The sun has been shining very single day I have been here, I close my eyes and feel its warm fire on my skin, simply divine..........

Moments of chaos, incomprehension, out-of-control situations, utterly incredible surprising ways of functioning.......sometimes bring on a wave of irritation or confusion which rapidly transforms into awe and marvel at how beautifully if not perfectly, everything works out in this country of mine.....
As the days pass, I feel overwhelmed with gratitude again.........and there are times I want to reach out and embrace it all, all, every single speck and grain.........

I begin each day with one and a half quart of green juice and also drink around three quarts of alkaline water with green powders......
A few of my meals have been small lightly cooked alkaline indian food and it is okay, I have no resistance to it.....I eat salads everyday and have also made a few raw food dishes for my family.

My mother has stopped eating her cooked acidic breakfast and drinks green juice every morning instead.....
My cousin has stopped giving her 4 year old son sweets and chocolates all the time (the child is a sugar addict) and instead gives him nuts and raisins now as well as vegetable juice and soups.....
My niece, who suffers from skin eczema, has given up on all sugars and refined foods and has already seen the difference in just five days......
An aunt of mine who suffers from psoriasis, is reading Ben's blog now and has begun having green juices everyday too.......

One step at a time, the change happens.....
One ripple at a time, the ocean transforms......

I dream and it is all real :-)

Thinking of you all, Much Much love xxx
I'll post some pictures the next time...........

Neeta,
You are such a light in this world.
What a blessing it is for your family that you have returned and taught them so much already. You have such deep agency and impact!
It's lovely to hear your accounts of India - I can't wait to come meet you there one day...
Love to you,

I'm planning on writing a guide soon for psoriasis sufferers so stay tuned for that... I just need to find the time to do this.

India sounds so amazing, I wish I could go too! :) I love how you've inspired the people around you to change their eating habits; the same thing has happened to me; I have one coworker doing kale smoothies, my mom is eating less refined stuff and I'm teaching her how to make salads after I'm done juice feasting (the woman has NEVER had spinach in her life!) and my sister decided she's going VEGAN! I honestly can't believe it! :)

Big hugs, please keep us updated. Make sure your aunt who has psoriasis stays far far away from nightshade veggies (tomatoes, eggplant, paprika, peppers and tobacco).

Also, tell her she can comment on my blog and ask me questions any time.

- Ben :)

Neeta,
It is so wonderful that you are planting seeds all around you and positively influencing your family members...

How much green powder do you add to your water? Do you add lemon to offset the taste? Even while I was juice feasting I really couldn't get into Spirulina/etc, but its so good for you that I'm really trying to find a way to add it in....

Always love your posts...

One reason I love Arizona is so I can feel that warm gently burn of the sun when it graces my skin.

And, I'm thrilled for your family adding some healthy raw foods to their lives.
